Just Start

My journey to my developer career is one I’m not sure if it’s rare but a bit weird and exciting. Before the lockdown last year, I was into digital marketing but I was hardly getting jobs and was not excited about the job itself so due to the fact I had lots of free time I had a quick thought about programming and delved into it.

During the lock-down, I messaged one of my friends who is an experienced developer, and asked him about the current stack I can learn for Front-end and he suggested React. Without wasting time I quickly went to google to do the needful downloading materials needed and that was how my developer career started properly. In the beginning, it was frustrating, annoying, and sometimes tiring cause I was new to the installation process of which I had to do it on my own because of the lock-down. After that, the journey was a smooth and exciting one but sometimes a boring one cause of the conditions in which I started (lock-down restrictions).

My developer journey is still a bit of a surprise to me to this day cause I made the decision very quickly before starting. I wish and hope anyone outside who is contemplating on starting should just start. It might be frustrating at the beginning that which is expected and normal but with a lot of determination and commitment once you pass through that little obstacle everything becomes exciting and hopefully productive.
